MSD HVC 2-series ignition coil. Use with MSD 7/8/10 series ignition control. Works with MSD VW type 1 billet distributor. The coil uses an iron U-core and a segmented bobbin to spread voltage more evenly. The bobbin is made from Dupont Rynite FR946, which resists electricity well at high temperatures. MSD also uses an advanced winding material with better insulation that withstands very high voltages. Together, these materials make a durable coil with high voltage capacity, fast rise time, and long spark duration.

  • Tough, rigid housing with isolated tower and brass primary terminals

  • Designed for racing applications with an MSD 7 or 8 Series Ignition Control

  • Supplied with mounting hardware and rubber shock mounts
