MSD HVC 2 blaster series ignition coil. For use with any MSD 6-series ignition. Works with MSD VW type 1 billet distributor. The Blaster HVC coil uses an iron U-core and a segmented bobbin for better voltage spread. The bobbin is molded from Dupont Rynite and wound to deliver maximum current, high voltage, and very fast rise time.

  • Supplied with rubber shock mounts

  • No CARB Exemption Order Number

  • Dupont Rynite housing with isolated tower and brass primary terminals

  • New U-core winding design produces more voltage and current

  • Windings are encased in fracture resistant compound for vibration resistance

  • 100:1 turns ratio and lower primary resistance produce high voltage output

  • Designed for high rpm, long duration applications using MSD 6 Series Ignitions
